Paige DeCamp is a junior at Grand Valley State University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  She has been volunteering at the Center since September and is studying to become a Certified Child Life Specialist.  She has always had a heart and passion for serving others, especially children. Entering college, she knew that she wanted to find a profession in the health field working with families and helping them through life altering experiences. Learning about Child Life was the answer to her prayers!  Once she began volunteering, she was certain she was made for the Child Life Specialist profession.  She has seen first-hand the impact play, art, and music therapy can have on children going through difficult situations and she is excited for the opportunity to implement what she has learned, and apply her experiences for programs at the Center.

In her spare time, Paige enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring all the mitten state has to offer with family and friends.
