Our Kids

Overcoming isolation.

Exposure to the outside world can be dangerous. Kids with weak immune systems struggle to fight off germs, which puts them at high risk for infection. Even the common cold can become life threatening. As a result, kids and families are isolated for their own safety. While less exposure may be advised, it often has negative physical, social and emotional consequences. We decided there had to be a better way.

Immune-suppressed conditions include:

  • Autoimmune Conditions
  • Bone Disorders
  • Cancer
  • Down Syndrome
  • Kidney Disease
  • Transplants

If you have a 3- to 18-year-old child with a medical condition that weakens the immune system, you’re exactly the reason we created the CHC.

Sick kids aren’t the only ones who suffer. Siblings often feel lonely, undervalued and jealous of the attention their sick brother or sister is getting. For these reasons, we’ve created an environment where siblings also feel special.
